To the OP, if it happens again and you unlock your door with the key in the FOB, try pushing the start button with the FOB. This will usually over ride any local interference, if that indeed is the problem. Others have mentioned similar unknown interference problems in the past. Anvil 2014 Trailhawk 3.2L.

Drivers side works fine. I recently had body work done to right front and im wondering if something may have been unplugged.

You may have a stuck button, on a FOB or in the Jeep (or a fault) where the Jeep is constantly interrogating the FOB (s) and the response drains FOB batteries. The 2018 wouldn't have a WIN module, but there are similar functions. Folks here have had issues with poor quality batteries one
Key fob --auto unlocking. Have had my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland V8 for just over a year now. Don't remember when this started but the locks unlock as I sit about 2' from the left rear wheel when it's in the garage.
