Just pull the fuel return line off the end, dry it out (the valve), stick some clean paper towel under it and crank the engine for a second. If any fuel comes out it's blown. 07 2.4 TDCI RWD MWB SHR.

Got the RAC out today who confirmed the battery is good and the alternator is charging. However, the thin, purple, smart charge wire has broken at the connector on the alternator.
